Advice

Hello brides and grooms. I have been thinking about giving some tips and advice that would help you search for vendors for your wedding.

Now, all of you know that planning a wedding isn’t easy and finding the right photographer for your wedding is stressful.

Every one knows that when looking for your vendors you do test runs, correct?

For example: when looking for a cake you want to taste the cake before you buy it.

Or, when you look for your dress you want to try it on before you say ‘this is the one.’

And when you are looking for a hair stylist, you want to make sure the stylist can do the hair style the way you want it done, so you do a test run.

So why not test a photographer?

Now not all photographers would do a test run, but I do because I want my client to feel comfortable with me and I want to let them know that their photographs are going to be beautiful. They get to see how I work so when the wedding comes they’re at ease. My test runs are FREE engagement portrait sessions.

Before you start searching for a photographer, ask yourself first: what type of style do I prefer? If you don’t know what types of styles are popular right now, you can search for images on Google or on yahoo and find lots of styles. Just search for weddings or wedding hair styles.

When you find some photographer’s websites, you want to look for some discounts. If they don’t have it listed, contact them and ask if they are having any discounts. It does not hurt to ask.

Finally, you want to meet with your photographer in a face-to-face meeting so that you can see them in person. Don’t be afraid of the meeting, it does not mean you have to book them right away. The meeting is just so you get to meet them in person and see everything that they can offer you and if they are a person you can trust.

Well, I hope this advice will help on your search for vendors.

I would like to welcome this precious newborn, named Mya Rose Crowell , to the world and extend my congratulations to this loving family, Lauren and Ryan, for bringing such a beautiful creation home. When I stepped into their home, I could feel the love in their house and I look forward to watching as a new chapter of this loving family’s story unfolds. I had the pleasure of capturing their newborn’s precious moments in a wonderful photo-session that will preserve this time in their baby’s life for them. It was a great pleasure working with them and I wish them the best and I hope I see them again in the near future.

Corbin decided to be cute today. Nathan came home from work Corbin comes running towards him took his hand and walk Nathan to the walk in closet. I can hear Corbin laughing when I open the door he had a cowboy hat on and smile from ear to ear. I laughed so hard I wanted to cry.

So I ran down stairs took my camera and took this picture.
I hope when I have another child. That child come out as charming as him.
He always makes me smile.

Well yesterday I went to a fabric store to pick up some fabric.
And I found 2 fabrics that I like and will be on my backdrop collection. One of the fabrics is my favorite. It has a high school senior and portrait feel to it. The colors are blue and green with design almost like an abstract. I love how bright the colors are and the way the design is. But I will post up the picture when it is ready. Now the image you see here is my husband he became my part time model for me.
Not a happy model but a sleepy model lol
But hey he tried. The fabric on this image is the other fabric I brought which is great. It has two different types of shades of color black and gray.

Well today I went to church and my son had a very small part in a play and that was carrying a really big leaf. He was such a cutie. He also went to bible school and had lots of fun he had cookies. Then my husband wanted to go out and take a boat ride.
So we went home got the boat and went to the lake and started the boat up.
Now what I am going to tell you next is going to be funny.
After going pretty far away from land Nathan my husband wanted Corbin my son to set on his lap. He slowed down the boat and the boat just stop. When that happen Corbin was really scared and wet his pants. I felt so bad. Wetting the pants was not funny but being stuck in the middle of the lake was funny. so we waited for about 5 minutes and the boat started up. So we had to cut are ride short. We got Corbin changed and went home.

I have so much fun with the photo shoot and I also gain experience.
It was something new that I am starting to get into.

When I first started with photography I did freelance photography then moved up to weddings and the high school senior portraits and so on.
But now I am adding newborns into my profession
And it is such a great experience.
The family was wonderful and there kids were great.
The size of the family was 3 kids and the mother and father.
They have a 4 year old girl and a 2 year old boy, who made me smile very big.
And a few weeks old baby boy.

With there family and newborn photo shoot I wanted to be creative and I did just that.
I was very happy of the outcome and I would love to do more.
